Everything you Need to Know for WorkSafeBC Injury Claims and Coverage

If you have been injured at work, the first thing you will need to do is report the incident to your employer and then to WorkSafeBC. On reporting your injury to WSBC, you are given a claim number which makes you eligible for 6 weeks of treatment or 15 treatment sessions.
 
Carry your claim number when you drop in at our clinic to access services.
 
Our team will complete a thorough assessment of your injury before educating you on the prognosis and recovery process.

WorkSafeBC FAQ

No referral is necessary for a physiotherapy treatment. All our physiotherapist are trained to do their own full body assessments post accident. If you are being treated for a WCB claim, you will be given a claim number which you must bring to your appointment.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your initial appointment to complete necessary paperwork. All our treatments can range from 30 to 60 minutes. All appointments are one-on-one hands on time with your physiotherapist. The number of sessions you’ll need depends on your condition. During the initial visit your therapist will assess you, determine your treatment plan and discuss this with you after the assessment.

  • Care Card
  • Doctor’s note (if vou have one).
  • Wear clothing appropriate to the type and area of injury (shorts and a t-shirt or tank top is usually sufficient).

All our physiotherapist are contracted by WorkSafeBC and are trained to perform the most evidence based treatment available.
