The patient is taught and made to demonstrate exercises under supervision to enable maximum safety. Once approved by the physio, exercise programs can be carried out at home.
Manual Therapy – For muscles and soft tissues, trigger points after commonly formed. Trigger points can be treated through various techniques including active release, dry needling, manual therapy or manipulations.
Manual Therapy methods are most preferred by clients and have the best reviews because they’re holistic and customized. The goal of manual therapy is twofold: to restore movement and function after injury, illness or disability, and to decrease your risk of injury in the future.
It is a technique in which the clinician uses a hands-on approach to examination and intervention.
This is a highly effective treatment to improve mobility post-injury. When a patient cannot actively complete the entire range of motion the physiotherapist provides accessory mobilization in order to bring about greater movement.
We enable pain-free movement by assisting the joints.
IASTM includes the use of an ergonomically designed instrument that causes a controlled microtrauma to soft tissue that has sustained an injury. It is based on the principle of cross-friction massage.
The instruments are designed to contour different surfaces of the body. After an assessment, compressive stroke techniques are used to break down restrictions and scar tissue. This microtrauma results in a surge of internal healing and recovery.
