What is Active Rehabilitation?

Active Rehabilitation is active exercises done by the clients to promote mobility and stability during physical activity under the supervision of a movement specialist, a Kinesiologist. 

Kinesiologists are exercise experts with a strong background in physiology and movement and are trained to help you perform to the best of your abilities. They are experts at formulating and adapting workout plans that will meet your specific goals.  

Active Rehab can help you: 

  • Improve range of motion through guided stretches 
  • Improve your strength and endurance through resistance training 
  • Improve your balance and agility through plyometric training 
  • Improve your aerobic conditioning

What to expect from your Revere Physiotherapy experience?

At your first visit, you will spend a dedicated 1-on-1 time with your kinesiologist. During this time, you can expect: 

  • A thorough functional assessment to determine your baseline capacity.  
  • Guided specific exercises supervised by our Kinesiologist. 
  • Continuous progressions until you are able to meet the demands of your daily lifestyle.
